We are very excited to announce that the Graduate Women in Physics & Astronomy (GWIPA) at McMaster University will be hosting the fourth annual Girls in Science (GIS) day. This year's event will be held on Friday, April 28th and is open to girls currently in Gr. 10. Participants will take part in a variety of hands on workshops, a Planetarium show, lab tours and a motivational lecture. Breakfast and lunch are provided and thanks to generous support from the Science Initiatives Fund at McMaster, and the Department of Physics & Astronomy, the day long event will be free to all participants.
