OAPT-OTF Summer Camp for Teachers

Registration is now open for the OAPT-OTF summer camp in Sudbury, August 9-11!

This year’s three day camp is led by Chris Meyer, Roberta Tevlin and Greg Macdonald and will be filled with lots of active learning, take home resources and friendly company. It takes place on the beautiful campus of Laurentian University which has lots of trails and lakeside swimming!
The first 20 people to register will have the chance to go 2 km underground in a working mine to see the dark matter experiments at SNOLab!
This event is almost completely free if you are a member of the OTF. You will need to pay $50 to register, but this is reimbursed after you finish the camp. The OTF covers your travel costs, and supplies your breakfast, lunch and snacks. You just need to pay for your supper. They also cover two nights of accommodation. Unless you live near Sudbury, we recommend that you register to stay for Aug. 8 as well. You will need to pay for this third night, but it is in the residence so it won’t be expensive.
