The Canadian Light Source (CLS) provides an annual Teachers’ Workshop - aprofessional development opportunity - for teachers across Canada. At this workshop teachers will have the opportunity to learn more about the facility, do hands on activities, network with colleagues and scientists, get resources and learn more about new research currently being done. The Teachers’ Workshop is also a requirement for teachers who are interested in participating in our Students on the Beamlines program. Students on the Beamlines is a high school student program where students can experience real science and use the state of the art national science research facility in their scientific experimentation. More information about the Students on the Beamlines program can be found on our website: http://www.lightsource.ca/pages/students_on_the_beamlines
