The University of Ottawa Department of Physics is excited to announce the second annual Eureka Talk --  a series of public events bringing cutting edge physics to the Ottawa community. These events are targeted at high school students and their families.

The Eureka Talk will be on Saturday April 8 at 10:30am in the Faculty of Social Sciences Building (room 2005) at uOttawa. Dr. William Phillips, winner of the 1997 Nobel Prize in Physics, will speak about "Time, Einstein and the coolest stuff in the universe."  Dr. Phillips is a superb and entertaining communicator, and the event will be a lot of fun.

Following the talk, there will be an open house at the uOttawa Advanced Research Complex, with physics labs open and available for tours and discussions.

More information is available at eureakottawa.eventbrite.com. To make sure we have the appropriate number of seats, we request that attendees register at that site.
